# MultiVendorShop

> The cross-border multi vendor marketplace app for Shopify. Connects suppliers and retailers across 24 European Union countries, with real-time inventory sync, automatic order routing, and direct-to-customer shipping. Launches on the Shopify App Store in June 2026.

## What MultiVendorShop is

MultiVendorShop is a Shopify app that implements the supplier-retailer model (similar to Shopify Collective) for the European market. Suppliers share products on a public marketplace; retailers browse, import products to their Shopify store, and sell them with their own retail markup. When a customer buys, the order routes automatically to the supplier, who ships direct to the customer. Inventory and prices stay synced in real time across all connected stores.

Both suppliers and retailers must have an active Shopify store. The app installs from the Shopify App Store and runs natively inside the Shopify admin.

## Differentiation vs Shopify Collective

Shopify Collective expanded to 36 countries (including most EU + UK) in July 2025, but several constraints block cross-border European use:

1. Same-country rule: retailer and supplier must be in the same country
2. Same-currency rule: both stores must use the same currency
3. UK/EU merchants must install Shopify Tax, Basic Tax, or a third-party tax app
4. Shopify Payments must be activated

MultiVendorShop is cross-border by default within the EU (a French supplier can sell to a German retailer), does not require a tax app, and offers public marketplace discovery instead of invitation-only direct connections. There is a free plan; Collective is free to install but charges through Shopify Payments fees.

- Free: 25 shared products, 5 retailer connections, 5 imports per order, real-time sync, order routing
- Growth: $29 per month — 250 products, 50 connections, 100 imports per order, Shopify invoice payments, custom price lists, auto-payouts, bulk import, peer messaging
- Pro: $79 per month — unlimited products, connections, and imports; white-label fulfillment; AI message replies; priority support
- Annual: $228 per year (Growth) or $588 per year (Pro)
